This my 1955 Chevy 3100 Second Series truck I bought in pieces, a total basket case for sure! I went with the name ” BIG RED” because I have decided to give it a bright red paint job in either Cherry Bomb Red Pearl or in Infa-Red Candy…. Time will tell what the color ends up being. I came across this gem on the internet and made a deal for a tidy 600 bucks to bring it home with me. everything disassembled of course. The frame included some one had already started the wrong way with a home made IFS. I plan on going with an IFS and four-link rear, a small block and manual transmission should give this piece of history new life. Check back for more information! I will post updates regular.
